Services · POS deployment

POS deployment for retail and restaurant locations.

We set up, connect and test your point-of-sale hardware on site, then hand the counter back ready for the first sale. Serving Orange County and the Inland Empire from our base in Corona.

What we set up

Every device at the counter, working together.

We handle the hands-on side of a POS go-live: unboxing, setup, connections and testing, so your POS provider or IT team can focus on the software.

01

Terminals and stations

POS terminals and all-in-one stations unboxed, placed on their stands, powered up and brought onto your network.

02

Receipt and kitchen printers

Printers connected and paired to the right stations, with test tickets printed at the counter and in the kitchen.

03

Scanners and cash drawers

Barcode scanners and cash drawers connected and checked at every lane, so the drawer opens and the scan lands on the ticket.

04

Card readers and customer displays

Card readers and customer-facing displays set up and connected. Payment activation stays with your processor or POS provider. We stay on site to test with them.

05

On your existing network

Each station checked for a solid connection on your existing network and Wi-Fi before go-live. Weak spots get flagged, not ignored.

06

Tested, then documented

Test transactions with your provider or store manager, then photos, device serial numbers and a short closeout note for your records.

How a deployment runs

Planned before we arrive. Tested before we leave.

The same four steps whether it is one register or every lane in the store.

01

Scope the job

Tell us the location, the device list and your target date. You get a written scope and a fixed price before any work starts.

02

Confirm the details

We check that hardware has arrived and your POS provider has the software ready, and lock in a visit window that fits store hours.

03

Set up and test

We set up each station and its peripherals, then run test transactions with your provider, MSP or store manager.

04

Close out

You get photos, serial numbers and notes on anything that needs a follow-up, plus a team you can call when you add a lane.

Who it's for

For the people opening the doors, and the people behind them.

Hire us directly for your own store, or bring us in as the local hands for your POS rollout.

01

Retail stores

New store openings, register refreshes and extra lanes for busy seasons.

02

Restaurants and quick service

Front counter, kitchen printers and order displays set up around your service hours.

03

Grocery and specialty food

Lanes, scanners and in-store screens, like the deli menu boards in our portfolio.

04

POS providers and MSPs

Local hands on site for your customers in Orange County and the Inland Empire, reporting back to your ticket.

05

Multi-location brands

The same setup and the same closeout notes at every store in the rollout.

Who does the work

A father and son team, on site for your go-live.

Phelo Tech Solutions is run by a father and son with 35+ years of combined field experience. The people who scope your POS deployment are the people who show up to do it.

Beyond POS, we handle the network side too: access point and switch replacement, configuration and upgrades, rack and stack and network cutovers. That way one team can get the whole store ready.

Questions

POS deployment FAQ

Do you work with our POS provider?

Yes. Your provider or MSP handles the software, accounts and payment activation. We handle the hardware on site: setup, connections and testing alongside them.

Which POS systems and devices do you support?

Tell us your system and device list when you request a quote. We confirm what we can cover before anything is scheduled, so there are no surprises on the day.

Can you work outside store hours?

Yes. We schedule the visit around your business, including after hours when the store needs to stay open during the day.

Do you add new network lines?

No. We work on your existing network. If a station needs a new network drop, your landlord or facilities vendor adds it, and we finish the setup once it is in.

Opening a store or refreshing your POS?

Send the location, the device list and the date. We will reply within one business day.
